The hillside site determined the layout of the two-storey solid construction. So the bedrooms are on the ground floor whilst the living area is on the upper floor. Access to the terrace is nevertheless at ground level. The living and dining area was designed like a loft. The occupants expressly wanted to have the load-bearing support girders as a highlight in the design. The loam-plastered hearth and the gilded living room wall are also inspired by the owners’ creative ideas.Modern, airy and full of surprises
The cooking area is raised. Another special element is the flowing transition from the bedroom to the bathroom. So there are no intervening walls or doors. The visual division relies entirely on the spatial assignment. The Swisshaus project manager built this architect-designed house according to the individual wishes of the owners.
