The Swisshaus architect transformed the detailed hand-drawings into computer-compatible CAD plans. The result is an impressive and elegant building with the charm of a 1930s Neo-Baroque city villa. The entrance leads through a foyer into the living area. There is no threshold and no door to interfere with the principle of open living. The uninterrupted transition to the spacious terrace extends the living area.
New house in old style
Whilst the salon is suitable for entertaining friends, the smaller living room has a more intimate character. A curved staircase leads to the upper floor. A sliding door separates the bedroom from the landing and stairs. But the real highlight lies in the walk-in wardrobe in the space behind the stairs: from here the owner can access the adjoining laundry and ironing room. The south-facing balcony can be reached both from the office and from the bedroom.
