Italianità style to the Minergie standard

The people building this property were keen to put a Mediterranean face on an energy-efficient brick construction complying with the Minergie standard.

Based on the Cadra house idea, the personal wishes were included in the final design. From outside, the building looks great with its clean lines. Full-length windows ensure light floods into the living areas. And they also provide a great view of the sunny terrace. Visitors can appreciate the stylish and elaborate space concept in the house's generous interior. Apart from the guest toilet, the ground floor is fully open plan. The Italian designer kitchen featuring a large cooking island, induction cooker with retractable extractor hood and other sophisticated details meets the highest expectations. Terracotta-coloured floor tiles reflect the "Italianità" concept.

Comfort ventilation system and Minergie standard

The first floor also conveys Italian flair. In the children's bedroom, the colour yellow ensures a sunny look. Calming green dominates the master bedroom. The retro look in the bathroom was a special request of the owner's wife. The owner's no-frills wellness area is totally different, with a waterfall shower, washbasin and toilet. A separate dressing room and an office complete the list of rooms on the first floor. A dream yet to be fulfilled is a home cinema in the basement. This wish was included in the plans and the required ductwork has been completed. The owners prioritised low energy consumption, a high resale value and optimum room conditions. So the house has been built to the Minergie standard with underfloor heating and comfort ventilation system.
